The tub surround was tiled using Bedrosian’s Sorrento 2.5″ x 10.5″ Glazed Ceramic tile. Laticrete 253 Gold thin-set was used for the tile installation. For exposed tile edges, aluminum 3/8″ Schluter Jolly in a black finish was selected. To ensure the niche did not traverse the horizontal or vertical lines, the tiles were laid previously to determine the exact dimensions for the rough framing. Grout joints were filled with Laticrete Permacolor Select.
